Burning Spark, a festival of light and sound,
A place where friendships and memories were found,

Where music and art came together as one,
And we danced to the beat until the night was done

The start of the festival, a sight to behold,
Our crew worked hard, with stories to be told,

From the colorful balloons that dotted the sky,
To the festoons that shimmered, and danced up high.

Tarot reading by Bex, a chance to peer inside,
And see what the future had in store for us to find

Headdress making,
a chance to craft with our hands,

Creating something beautiful,
to wear in the dance.

Lead by Erkki and Laura we ventured into the forest's green,
Foraging for branches, a sauna whipping dream.

Then cooled off in the pool,
or with a drink in our hand,
Feeling alive with our friends
in our magical little land..

At night, the firepits brought warmth aglow,
As we shared stories and watched the embers glow.

Zak Greening's lighting installations,
brought for our delight,
Fresh from the fields of Glastonbury,
a mesmerizing sight.

In the barn, we drew with care
Our friend posing, in the nude and bare
Laughter echoed, pencils in hand
Creating art, from a cheeky demand!

 Portobello & Timanti spun tracks
that kept us on our feet,
Our spirits soared as we moved to the beat.

With beats from DJs like
Connor Gray and Techno Pussies,
 We danced and swayed,
letting the rhythm fill our bodies,

At Burning Spark, the dress code was free,
Some wore sequins and glitter, sparkling for us all to see,
Others crafted their outfits from scratch,
Sewing and cutting, to make a one-of-a-kind match.

But for some,
the dress code was none!
Embracing the freedom of the setting sun,

As Burning Spark lit up the night,
Costumes and clothing became a secondary sight…

From vibrant greens to deep shades of blue,
The palette captivated and enticed us anew

as all around the site, Lucy Nations lighting began to shine,
A kaleidoscopic paradise that bent space and time.

Shapes danced and swirled in a hypnotic display,
A psychedelic wonderland that took our breath away,

As the last day drew close we tied our wishes to the wooden man

A symbol of all things to let go of, and our hopes and plans,

As we watched the flames consume him whole,
Some of us found love
and others explored our inner souls

A thunderstorm raged above our heads,
As we stood in awe of the fire we fed,

Our secrets and wishes turned to ash,

A moment in time that we will stash

As the festival drew to a close, we felt a mix of joy and sorrow,
For the memories we made today, and the hope for tomorrow,

We packed up our tents,
and said goodbye to the crew,
But we knew deep down,
that there will be a sequel, (it’s true).

We laughed, danced, and made memories that we'll never forget,

And eagerly await Episode 2, where we'll reunite and reset!
